The people behind The Versatile Hunter are Charles and Charity Upchurch, with canine athletes representing the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon breed. Charles and Charity currently hunt behind three griffs: Sue, age 7, Sam, age 3, and BB, age 6 months. Charles has been heavily hunting the wild birds of the Great Plains for the past 15 years, with wife Charity and other friends joining him on a regular basis. They are currently based in Bellevue, Nebraska.
